Workshop i Acroyoga

Lördagen den 12:e november erbjuder vi en workshop i Acroyoga med läraren Diana Bjälvenäs.

Acroyoga är en blandning av yoga, akrobatik och thaimassage. Det är lekfullt och bjuder ofta in till skratt vid utforskandet av dom olika positionerna som görs tillsammans.

Vi ser mycket fram emot den här härliga och energigivande workshopen som passar både nybörjare och erfarna.

WANT TO LEARN ACROYOGA

In this 2-hour Acroyoga workshop, we will learn and experience the movement of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai yoga massage. We will work to create a solid foundation to introduce ourselves to acrobatic movements as well as massage.

AcroYoga is a movement practice that combines the balance & connection of yoga, the strength & energy of acrobatics, and the holistic healing power of therapeutics.

This practice is designed to reach all people - no matter your age, size, skill, or fitness level. Acroyoga is a fun and challenging way to expand flexibility, build strength and create connection.

There are no requirements to join this course. Just a willingness to learn. If you have some experience that is great! You will be encouraged to learn how to base, fly, and spot.

We will learn how to find balance, communication, and trust as we learn how to base, fly, and keep everyone safe as a spotter.

DIANA BJÄLVENÄS

Diana started Acroyoga in 2014 teaching children as a pedagog in a school. She then loved the playfulness and trust so much that she become a partner acrobatics teacher in 2018 with Lux Seattle and studied under Daniel Scott in 2016.

She has also had regular practice in Stockholm with Tobias Strollo. Diana is also a 500 ERYT who has studied under Briohny Smyth, Dice Ilda-Klien, and Dylan Werner. Exploration of movement, having fun, and being mindful of one's capabilities are key when I step onto the mat. Bad jokes, silly faces, and laughter are just the bonus!
